VANLIFE SPAIN AND PORTUGAL

While I would love to take my own van all over Europe it is quite the ordeal to ship a vehicle overseas and for shorter trips it makes sense to use a local rental. I wanted something with my usual creature comforts and lots of space for surfboards and I chose to go with Activans.

Vanlife in Europe

Vanlife in Europe was surprisingly easy! A lot of towns were very van friendly even having dedicated areas for vans to stay in the heart of the city for free, with amenities such as coin operated showers and laundry which was delightful. Roads were easy to navigate and the cell signal coverage was literally everywhere which made life soooo much easier than in Australia or North America.
